FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MANY BUNDLES DO I NEED?

The amount of bundles needed depends on head size and the overall look/fullness desired.  Standard recommendations are as follows:

Lengths 10-14" - 2-3 bundles

Lengths 16- 20" - 3-4 bundles

Lengths more than 20" - 4-5 bundles

CAN THE HAIR BE COLORED OR BLEACHED?

Yes. Our hair is 100% virgin human hair and can be colored and bleached.  Be careful not to over process the hair.  It is highly recommended to consult a licensed professional for any chemical processing.  Do not use box dyes on the hair.

CAN THE HAIR BE HEAT STYLED?

Yes. We recommend using a heat protectant when using any type of heat (flat iron, curling iron/wand, blow-dryer) to keep hair from becoming heat-damaged, brittle, and dry

HOW DO I MAINTAIN AND CARE FOR MY HAIR?

-We advise against cutting your wefts to avoid shedding.

-Sealing wefts is not necessary but is recommended if you cut your wefts.

-Do not sew through wefts with needle and thread.  This will cause the construction of your wefts to weaken, causing shedding and thinning of hair extensions.

-Avoid excessive product use on the hair (textured hair, i.e. deep wave and deep curly, require more moisturizing products).  Product build up can cause matting, tangling and shedding.

-Don’t be afraid to use a small amount of oil on your hair extensions especially towards the ends which tend to get dry the quickest.

-We recommend using a heat protector when using any type of heat styling tools (flat iron, curling iron/wand, blow-dryer) to keep hair from becoming heat-damaged, brittle, and dry.

-Do not use products that contain sulfates or alcohol which will lead to dry and frizzy hair.

-Treat the hair as if it were your own, being mindful that the hair that naturally grows from your head receives nutrients and oils produced in the scalp, but hair extensions have been cut from a donor and no longer receives such nutrients and oils, thus, causing the hair extensions to require more care.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SHAMPOO & CONDITION MY HAIR?

ALWAYS comb/detangle from the ends up before wetting hair.  CONDITION hair once every week; SHAMPOO hair once every other week.  This is a standard suggestion that may vary depending on personal lifestyle, amount of styling and product build-up.  Allow hair to air-dry as often as possible to avoid excessive heat caused by blow dryers.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY HAIR AT NIGHT?

Wrap hair at night with a satin scarf or bonnet to help lock in moisture and eliminate unnecessary shedding/tangling.  Hair should be kept in place under scarf to eliminate friction, which can cause the hair to matte and tangle while sleeping.
